Hi, Marine Corps Vet here. I just wanted to share my recent purchase experience with you. I had purchased one of your "Thank a Vet," tee shirts last spring at Tractor supply. I absolutely loved the fit and feel of the shirt. Maybe one of the best fitting tee shirts that I have ever worn. Great for a dad bod, as it gave ample room around the waist area to hide the middle age rolls, but nicely fitted around the shoulder area, ( short and tight to show off the biceps.) : ) Also, the material was very soft and had a pleasant smooth, comfortable feel. I have gotten so many nice compliments on that shirt, love the message on it, and love wearing it.
Fast forward to this fall, I decided to purchase some more of your tee shirts that I loved so much after finding you on the Gov X site. So I picked out three designs that I liked, made the purchase online, and eagerly waited for them to arrive. When they did, I immediately took them out of the package and started admiring the design, but something seemed a little off. Anyway, it was getting late, so I didn't think much of it that night. I just cut off the tags and threw them in the laundry for my wife to wash the next day. So the next day, my wife had washed and dried the tee shirts and had them hanging in my closet ready to wear when I got home. I immediately grabbed one to try it on and see how it looked. But to my very unpleasant surprise, these tee shirts did not feel or fit anything like the first "We Hold Fast," tee that I purchased at Tractor Supply. The material felt rough and scratchy, the hem was at least 6" longer and hung down well past my waist and half way down by butt, whereas the Tractor Supply tee stopped nicely right at my waist with no excess material, and no need to feel like I needed to tuck it in. Also, they no longer had the nice dad bod fit either that I loved. These were tight/fitted around the waist area easily showing off my middle age love handles, and they were now long and loose in the bicep/shoulder area so they no longer show accentuate that area. In short, everything that I loved so much about the original tee shirt, was no longer featured in these shirts. Also of the three new medium sized shirts that I received, none of them were consistent in size and shape, (sleeve length, waist length, or collar opening.) I am SO disappointed in this purchase! I love your company, your message, and what it stands for, but whoever is in charge of procurement of these current tee shirts that you are selling made a HUGE mistake IMO. I sincerely hope that you will try to make this right, as I truly feel like I just pissed away my hard earned money on three shirts that I will likely never wear.
